A Poem by Victoria Lynn Hall
Why do we behave like Vampires when the energy within us is endless? Why do we put out our own fires and then complain about the darkness? Why are we blind when we could just open our eyes? Why do we leave the truth behind and refuse to confront the lies? Do we see, as if in a mirror, only a backwards world? Are we lost in a distorted reflection? Will things ever get clearer, or only more blurred as we continue to judge and not question? No one can see the real me if they are afraid of their own vulnerability No one can see themselves if they are afraid of connecting with someone else And so we go untapped looking all over the map for what we need to live When the most renewable resource and the most powerful force is what each of us has to give

A self taught artist and creative entrepreneur, Victoria Lynn Hall lives in the Kansas City area with 4 spoiled cats. She believes in art and the magic of kindness.
So beautiful and perfectly expressed.
