A Poem by Victoria Lynn Hall
When it stopped being enough to have enough It started to become too much for some And not enough for others When we stopped rewarding givers over takers We started favoring the haters And condemning the lovers When we stopped seeing ourselves as whole When we started believing that power meant control When our faith in a natural order was lost We crossed the border into chaos What would happen if we stopped striving and surrendered? If we could will ourselves still and learn the skill of staying tender? To stop looking and start finding in our hearts what we always have enough of To stop wanting and seeking and start giving and being Love.
