The Wonderland Campaign

By Kerri Romeo

The Wonderland Campaign is a new weekly series created for the person who wants to see positive change in the country and the world, but has been under the impression politics is confusing, boring and/or toxic. By introducing curiosity into politics it can become relatable, engaging and even heart-opening!

After interacting with members of the Citizens for a Conscious Democracy community I realized politics is not only for the businessman or the career politician who [supposedly] knows more than I do. I discovered how important it is to be an engaged citizen no matter what level of understanding of governmental politics you are at because the policies and decisions that our elected officials make directly affect our private and public lives. Just as Alice begins to realize to her sense of responsibility through her choices, The Wonderland Campaign seeks to awaken our own sense of purpose and responsibility towards ourselves and one another.

Are you a relative newcomer to politics?

Did you believe you were an informed enough citizen who was voting for the “good guys”, only to discover everyone and everything is not as it seemed?

Are you well-educated and well-informed about politics, but have grown disillusioned by what it has become?

Everyone is welcome in Wonderland!
