When My Soul Speaks

CHOP Seattle June 2020

(An Ode to CHOP)

By Abraham Entin

When my soul speaks

I hear the echo of music

It speaks in the rhyme of Time

And of no time

It says I seek the seeker

I welcome the wanderer

I want to make a home in my heart

For the Sisters of the Sun

For the Moon-men who wax and wane

And wax again

Join me on this journey

I will match my step to yours

We will dance together in the streets of the city

We will reclaim what is ours

What belongs to us all

And can never die.
